IMO Awards 2018

Master and crew of M/T SEAPOWER of Queensway Navigation were presented with the Certificate of Commendation by IMO’s Secretary General, Mr. Kitack Lim, in recognition of their courage and tenacity during the coordinated rescue operation of 13 crew members of the sunken tanker RAMA 2, off Oman in Indian Ocean, under adverse weather and sea conditions, in June 2017.

The awards ceremony took place at IMO headquarters in London, on 6 December 2018. Capt. Levan Mamaladze, master of M/T SEAPOWER, accepted the award on behalf of his crew.
